Sunbeam Drakes are the diurnal counterparts to Moonglow Drakes, their eggs having been laid during the daylight hours. They are around the size of a small dog, and while docile, can be flighty and easily startled. Most can be found high in treetops enjoying the bright sunlight, tucking themselves away at the first sign of a storm or impending nightfall. Sunbeam Drakes enjoy flying in the light of the sun, and their treetop dances are beautiful, dazzling, and serene.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Irene mademoissele has a tendency to be very easygoing with others, offering kind advice when it is needed but never forcing her ideas onto others. While her nature is easy, however, it is certainly not disorderly. Irene is the calmest when she knows what she is doing, and even in the face of chaos Irene can hold steady as long as she has a plan. As such, she often occupies positions in her clan where she is in charge of day to day operations, ensuring that projects go smoothly and plans go off without a hitch. Irene has a strong inner compass guiding her emotions. If she feels happy, then she's apt to believe that everything is going well in her life rather than to question what is wrong. While when she feels sad she does not wait for it to pass, but act upon it in an attempt to right the perceived wrong. The only downside of which is that Irene cannot just float past certain thoughts or feelings, but will always stress and worry over exactly what they mean, sometimes unnecessarily.
