Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Corrim is one of the members of the Seventh Alliance, but he came into it in a rather strange way. Long ago, Corrim's parents were killed by vampire dragons who were afflicted with the Bloodwrath, making him grow cold and bitter towards all of their species. It became his personal goal in life to hunt their kind down and destroy every last one of them, in revenge for what had happened to his parents. Imagine his surprise, then, when he ran into Aletta and her small group of travelers- that were willingly letting a Bloodwrath dragon travel with them! At first, Corrim was infuriated over this fact, and tried all he could to drive Corrinx away, until Aletta and the rest made him see the error in his vengeful ways. He now happily travels with the group, having taken in Syrmaa as an adoptive sister of sorts (since their backstories are so similar, and he can relate with her.) Corrim is very protective over the group as well, and he's willing to fight to the death for them if need be.
