Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Chiisai Hitonomi is the clan's second mint green dragon. Because she is the second of her kind to join the clan, the clan has high expectations for her. They expect her to be as good a spy as Matahari. She isn't though, much to her whole clan's dismay. Instead she runs off and hides whenever they try and send her on a spying mission, and Matahari has to do the spying instead. That said, Matahari, and for that matter all the dragons in the clan, wonder why their human puts up with her. Her human puts up with her because she is such a cute little thing and when she climbs onto the human it often tickles. That is why her human tolerates her. Too bad she can't tickle the other dragon's fancy, unfortunately because of their scales it doesn't tickle when she climbs on them. Therefore they will forever wonder what their human sees in her.
