Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Zukita is a feisty, energetic little dragon, driven by her uncontrollable curiosity.  She often asks many questions at a time and one immediately after the other, not giving anyone any time to respond.  Most of the time, she follows the adults of the group around and barrages them with random questions.  When she isn't doing that, she's getting into something she knows she's not supposed to.  She has a bit of a crush on Mei-Torro, (a frozen male Terrae Dragon hatchling in the group, who is around her age).  However, she hasn't yet summoned up the courage to tell him yet.
