Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The first thing nearly everyone who encounters this strange dragon notices is the unusual cloud in his claws. Whereas most gray dragons have their own personal clouds, few have a cloud like the one this dragon possesses. What makes his cloud unique is that instead of droplets of water, the cloud sprinkles grains of salt. This immediately raises many questions, not all of which this dragon is willing to answer.

Apparently this dragon came from a faraway land where water is so scarce that it is nearly never found. As gray dragons, this is obviously problematic, and so those of his kind must employ magical spells to combat dehydration through various means. One such adaptation is the ability to expel salt through their clouds instead of water. Legends speak of whole clans of such dragons, who have been known to combine their powers to create powerful salt storms capable of laying waste to whole landscapes. But whether or not these legends are true, this dragon will not say.
