Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It likes hiding under dead leaves and attacking your ankles when you pass by.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Droplet is a cute little harmless hatchling. So young that his spines haven't yet hardened and his venom hasn't even begun to develop, he can easily play with other hatchlings and even humans without anyone having to worry about potential injuries. Droplet is a bit afraid of the day he will grow out his spines and will become dangerous to his friends. The adults seem to have it under control, but Droplet knows that he is a bit clumsy and might hurt someone without ever wanting to.
