Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nightlife Desire is Night and the Spirits of Life's first child. Night desperately hoped Nightlife would be an alternate form, for although she would always love her son, she knew that Taliax would abandon him if he wasn't an alt. Lucky for Night and the Spirits of Life, Nightlife Desire was an alt. Taliax was astonished at her luck. Everyone was happy; Taliax had obtained a rare and beautiful dragon, Night got to live in peace with her son, and Nightlife had a kind family and many friends.

Nightlife Desire enjoys hunting with his father, Metalic Silk, and learning fighting skills with his mother and the other black dragons. He is very close to Platinum Renaissance, and he hopes that someday they will be mates, but he knows that now is not the right time.
