Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shichibi lives in the shadows and lurks in the darkness of mankind's hearts...or so the stories say. In truth, Shichibi merely lives in a world of eternal night, where the sun never shines. In this area, she lurks, waiting for those foolish enough to enter there.

Shichibi is a violent dragon with a thirst for blood, and as such, she is feared by many, though knights rarely enter her territory due to its odd way of almost absorbing any and all light, rendering any lamps or torches that might light the way worthless.

As a result of her murderous tendencies and the inability of knights to attack her, the people brave and hardy enough to live there call her the "Nightmare Dragon" and make sacrifices of their finest livestock to appease Shichibi's appetite, for if they don't, then Shichibi will devour them instead.
