Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling is the reigning champion of Twister. A decade ago, hipster dragons invented the World Championship of Twister, a game where you have to put a dedicated limb on a field of designated color. Any dragn to fail the instructions is eliminated from the game until only one dragon remains.

A journalist from the Dragon Times accused the hatchling of cheating, adding invented instructions to the game. According to the hatchling's lawyer, 'Right Head on Red' has always been part of the game, since the inventors wanted to avoid discrimination of dragons with 'more than one head'.
