It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

She is a very peaceful dragon and likes trying to speak to Shanthien, but the Soulpeace won't answer since she has trouble talking to others. Instead, she'd lie under the tree Shanthien perches in and listen to her song. When the Soulpeace flies down from her tree, Annelise would tell her that the song was beautiful. Shanthien would always smile and nod to say thank you. The reason why Annelise does this is because she senses something special about her, but she doesn't know what it is.
