Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

upJA spends most of its time among the cave's hatchlings, holding out its arms. When one of the hatchlings takes its invitation, upJA will toss them up and down. Being made of paper, upJA does try to steer clear of more intimidating or spiky hatchlings, but it hates letting down youngsters. Therefore, many of its pages are a little torn from various hatchling antics.
