Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Plaz is a very loyal, trustworthy dragon, and is always trying to find a way to get TD1 to be quiet.

The two have an upstanding argument about quoting. TD1 claims that 'quoting' is when a dragon flies in loops while telling annoying jokes. Plaz says that it is when you eat dirt and spit it at another dragon.

They got into quite an argument about this, and eventually it ended with Plaz knocking TD1 unconscious. Plaz, not wanting Autumn to know, framed the attack on TA-175, the Tactical Dragon. They all went through a truly infuriating trial--where Plaz went out of his mind in boredom, TA-175 left, TD1 sang a few jaunty tunes, the entire judging council went completely bonkers, and some random human began waving a towel about and screaming "42!".

Plaz, though he is occasionally given the more-than-absolutely-freezing shoulder, is still very nice to all he thinks are sane. This mostly includes Autumn, Todo, and a couple of very nice inanimate rocks he found lying outside of the cave.
