Glaucus Drakes have curious personalities. They spend more of their time sunbathing and idly floating in the water than exploring. Because they move very little as they float, Glaucus Drakes can ambush prey relatively easily. They can dive to surprisingly deep depths, and eat a variety of fish and marine plants. Most of them live in tight-knit family groups.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

As lyrical as her name may sound, Through the Sea is actually a diplomat. Along with her beloved mate, Above the Ocean, they are members of the diplomatic entourage, whose mission is to promote and advance the interests of Beacker1160's clan in faraway lands. The two glaucus drakes, who are known as the "Ambassador Pair", are nearly always stationed at the same consulate so as to be able to serve together. They have proven to be especially popular among foreign diplomats, leaders, and wild dragons alike, and their visits are often celebrated.

Although she is often wrapped up in her numerous duties as a diplomat, Through the Sea still makes her best effort to commit herself to her mate. Gorgeously striking yet refined in manner, Through the Sea is truly a beautiful lady. She enjoys candlelit dinners, frolicking by the sea, and writing about her adventures in foreign lands with her cherished mate. Truly, the two are the envy of many dragons both at home and abroad.
