Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The Legendary Water Horse unlike most females, is more like a male dragon. Many dragons have always wondered why this young beautiful female is more like a male dragon than a female dragon. The reason why is because all of her nest mates where boys, they always fought each other as hatchlings so she didn't know what else to do but what her "brothers" did. When she grew up, like most male dragons they fought for a place in the clan. Although she could not since she was a female and the boys probably wouldn't go easy. All her neswt mates love her beauty and there are not that many females in the clan so all of her clan mates wanted to breed but she still doesn't want to. The young female still is searching for that perfect dragon to love for the rest of her life.
