Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"Oh woe is me." Uashobe is never happy with anything. A sunny day—"Oh my, the sun hurts my eyes." A cloudy day—"Oh, I feel cold." Hatchlings at play—"So much noise." Hatchlings quiet—"Oh they must be ill." "Alas, alack, poor little me." When the other dragons hear the litany of his woes approaching they mysteriously evaporate from his path. It probably doesn't matter, though. He is the best audience for his list of troubles.
