Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Shigeto dozes in the early morning light, his gentle snores drawing the attention of the newly hatched dragons, who scamper around him in amazement. <br/>With each intake of breath some of them gaze into his mouth, staring at the sharp teeth that have been the end of many of his opponents. Suddenly he snorts and the hatchlings freeze, lest he wake up and devour them like the older hatchlings say. <br/>Fortunately, he soon drops back into his deep slumber and the hatchlings quietly resume their games of re-enacting his more ferocious battles.
