As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

FightingTwilight is a lookout for the family during the night. Seeing as he is one of the few who actually are awake during the night he will often hunt for the hatchlings and take care of them when he can. The nocturnal duties are rotated amongst the nocturnal dragons and FightingTwilight is equipped to do any role required. Whether it be taking care of the hatchlings, guarding the borders, or hunting.
