Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
A most diabolical little devil, this male is Cupid's worst enemy. While most Heartseekers enjoy using their alluring scents to draw dragons to the perfect potential mates, this cheeky little monster enjoys doing the exact opposite; his tempting trails lead Luminas smack dab into Turpentine dens, meek Mints into the territory of amorous Stone dragons, and overly-affectionate Whites to the lairs of the most cantankerous of Vine dragons. Needless to say, he's not very popular with the locals--or rather, he wouldn't be, if only they could find PROOF that the little demon was the one causing all the chaos!
