Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Unlike the other dragons named after so-called "Greek" characters, Psi's name actually pertains to a feature of her species, the often proposed psychic ability of silver dragons. It calms those around her, but she can't control it. It can sometime alarm Psi when people stop arguing when she just comes to hear what's going on.

Since becoming an adult Psi's mood seems to change at the drop of a scale. Many of her friends wonder if this is since she's mated with a Guardian of Change; others think it's the other way around.

Psi enjoys collecting mana crystals, and covets them to the point of aggression. Due to this behavior, most other dragons make certain to only mention these crystals in emergencies. This somewhat selfish behavior is in opposition to her breed's normally friendly nature, even more than her usual behavior, but those lucky enough to see the collection understand why. Each crystal was polished to perfection, and due to their arrangement create a rainbow at night time.
