Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shepherd is like a father to many of the local Blunas around the cave, wild or tamed. He helps look after the young and chases off potential predators. Shepherd's signature dive consists of diving head-first with his body straight and his wings tucked close to his body. Shepherd dislikes any and all Wyverns, and will hiss until they leave his direct vicinity. Why he expresses hostility towards them is unknown.
