Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

For a long time, as the eldest dragon, she served as a sort of babysitter and caretaker of the young, especially those who had been abandoned and without proper parents. She loved each of them as her own, but eventually wanted to create her own legacy and know a mother's bond, and after having a few children with different dragons, chose a mate for life and settled down. Now she is not only leader and the oldest and perhaps wisest of the group, she is happy and content in her role as mother to many healthy children and a caring mate to her chosen one. She wouldn't trade what she has for the world, and still helps out with the little ones that need extra care and love, or the elderly dragons that need watched over. She loathes hunting, but will lend a wing to just about any other activity that she's needed for, setting a good example for the others. All in all, she is the peace that keeps the group together, a weathered veteran of a sound mind.
