Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

In the dead of night, when the world is a asleep, a terrible creature arises from its black grave: Wuzzles, the baby zombie dragon. She used to be a lovely little hatchling, innocent and curious, until a dagger came down with a SLICK! Then, on Halloween, she came to life. Well, semi-life. Now, legends of a lonely little hatchling coming to revisit the scroll of her human whisper themselves into the minds and thoughts of the shivering dragons which are still alive on vangar's scroll.
