Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stoic and reserved, Warden is typically found standing guard at the entrance to the cavern. He does not often speak, but when he does, his words are well-chosen and leave a lasting impression. Perhaps this is one of the things that Noble finds most infuriating about Warden—his ability to talk the prideful Red down in a single sentence. Or maybe it is the simple fact that, even in her most spiteful of moods, not a single one of her venomous words appear to inflict even the tiniest of spiritual wounds upon him.

With his dedication being mainly toward protecting his cavemates, Warden seems uninterested in the affairs of love and of breeding. In fact, his only interest apart from his vigilant watch appears to be the word-sparring he engages in with Noble.
