Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Prise is a rather insecure dragon. She was destined to belong to a certain someone, a special someone. Someone who did not want her. Curled up inside her egg, she felt this dismissal, a cold wash of undeserved dislike dousing her egg. She was unwanted and alone, worthless. It was Kanaye who stepped forward, wrapping her arms around the egg, bigger than she was, and whispering things such as "Now you are mine" and "I'm so happy you are here" that gave the hatching inside a tiny kernel of hope.

Now a full grown dragon, Prise is still unsure she deserves Kanaye's love so she tries to do little things for her; cleaning her cave, making her a mud pie, finding her the prettiest rock. Other than the cleaning fiasco, "Who moved my things!", Kanaye seems to appreciate these small gestures and, in turn, pets Prise and whispers encouraging things to her.
