Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to sleep during the day and glow when it wakes up at night.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

MoonstonePrincess is a young Moonstone Dragon hatchling. She is sweet and kind, but a little shy. She is always right next to one of her parents or grandparents, because she doesn't know many dragons in her cave yet. She is only a year old, which is tiny for a hatchling. She is still smaller than the egg she hatched out of. But MoonstonePrincess is growing bigger every day and with every meal. Soon she will be a big adult just like her mother.
