Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A cheeky prankster if ever there was one, this dragon believes (all too often correctly) that, if humans are stupid enough to believe just looking at her can grant them luck, that they're stupid enough to believe ANYTHING. Such as, say, believing that the way her scales flash gold when the sun strikes them suggests that they ARE real gold, and that only she knows the secret to turning anything the light touches into shiny money... and will only divulge this information for oh, say, several hundred pounds of finely seasoned meat, an hour long scale scrubbing session, a few songs devoted to her name oh and also--

Needless to say, her promise is all lies--something her poor gullible victims often don't realize until their "travel" together ends with her dumping them in the middle of nowhere instead of the promised Golden Spring of Mirth and Rainbows!
