Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Known as Blue to her nest-mates and closest friends and as Lady to everyone else, Blue Winged Lady is the matriarch of her clan.  She is revered by other dragons as a knowledge quiet philosopher; those that know her well know that she is usually singing one song or another in her head.

Blue Lady dislikes being on the ground, and only comes down for the nessesities like food, sleep and music.  Those that want to talk to her must go into the air themselves, although she makes exceptions for dragons of the water like Biuko and flies low over the see to converse with her water friends.

Like Bombbast, Blue Lady takes it upon herself to teach hatchlings; once they learn the basics of flying, they join her in the sky to learn the fine art of flight from the master.
