Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Niederrhein is as snobby and self-obsessed as they come. He feels entitled to a special treatment because of his breed, his lineage, and his unmatched beauty. Having to work for a living, contributing to the good of the clan... what an impertinent, unreasonable demand. He contributes enough simply by being there, letting others bask in his perfection. If he ever loses a scale or has to pluck it out, he will jealously guard it and only part with it to gift it to an especially devoted admirer. Lately he has also started selling them for an exorbitant price (and many compliments) to Dr Beaute, who uses the scales as an ingredient in some of her more powerful beautifying spells.
