Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Selene is a stubborn young female dragon that spent most of her time underground. The violent nature of her type of dragon seems to be less active in her, although she had moments where she broke down in anger, especially during her childhood. <br/>In one of her more destructive moods Selene met Canoro, another dark green dragon with an extremely violent nature. At first he tried everything to chase her away from his territory, but Selene, stubborn as she is, refused and they started fighting. Canoro, being the strongest of the two, easily won that battle, severely wounding Selene. Still, the wounded Selene managed to somehow cause a change in the behavior of the rough, violent Canoro. Instead of killing her, he took her to his shelter underground, making sure she survived, though nobody knows what made him change is mind. Selene lived at Canoro's side ever since, being the only one that is capable of getting some affection from the normally so insensitive green dragon.
