Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

ShiningMountain is an intellectual, a poet, a dreamer, and an unbelievable coward in front of females. His words could seduce the honey from a hive of bees but the moment he faces a dragon of the opposite gender he freezes. His tongue feels puffy, he can't think straight, and he begins to sweat uncontrollably. He does not know why this happens to him. All he knows is that it is becoming a major obstacle. How is he supposed to continue to teach others his knowledge when he cannot have any offspring to teach it to He gazes at the night sky and yearns for love almost every night. Sometimes he tells himself that a female dragon is thinking the exact same thing and yearning as he yearns. Companionship is a term that he is familiar with, but feels he will never experience. Others have tried to help him but have all failed and labeled him as hopeless. Still, he does not give up hope. The flowers are the only ones to hear his poems of love. But he will find love. Everyone has someone to love.
