Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

La Homme is a male dragon, and every day he mopes around feeling sorry for himself for one simple reason; he was supposed to be a girl.

Homme can never get over this fact, and often sulks around in corners wanting female attention. Because Homme loves girls, he loves female dragons of every type, and he loves being around them. He cannot stand to be around other males, partly because of the fact that he feels guilty for being one.

He sometimes suffers long spouts of jealously at the other girls in the cave, refusing to go near them. This however never lasts long as La Homme lives on female attention.

One day Homme hopes to find a female he can call his mate, but until then he will sulk and brood simply because he was not born a girl.
