Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eternal Sleep is one of the original four who survived the hardships of Silver Caves. When several dragons started calling The Fire of Life queen, Eternal Sleep did her best to further the power and potential of The Fire of Life. She always called her queen, announced her as such, and told everyone of her great deeds, and how she deserved to be queen after all, since she was the first hatchling to live to adulthood. And sure enough; The Fire of Life became queen. Eternal Sleep was made the commander of any and all armies of Silver Caves, and her authority in such matters was only exceeded by The Fire of Life herself.
