Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zenan is one of the most annoying sorts of dragons around. She has practically no intelligence, and puts what little she is gifted with into tormenting others with perpetual verbal abuse, meaningless phrases chanted and repeated constantly, and general minor harassment. The result of it is that several of her common targets would like to strangle her, but she'll eventually be sorted out by the cave leadership.

Zenan also avoids actual responsibility, preferring to chat with friends and lie in the sunshine all day, or in the heated egg chamber when the weather is inconvenient. She never turns up when work has to be done.

Overall, she is generally-and correctly-considered a waste of space in her cave. She's a nuisance, doesn't contribute a bit, and interrupts important meetings with questions brainless enough to offend a five-year-old.
