Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Because of her master's liking to her, Mondiale has adapted to be uncaring and emotionless when it comes to the eggs laid and capture. Because of her earth wielding abilities, Suki loves to have her practice her earthquakes on the baby dragons inside their eggs, and more than once has it killed a few. The first time, it nearly broke Mondiale's heart, as well as her master's, so they left the clan for a bit to recuperate. The next time wasn't so bad, so now Mondiale holds no emotional ties to the eggs, unless she laid one herself. Otherwise, compared to her looks, she's a usually jovial dragon, very social.

Being French, Mondiale's name describes her breed, meaning 'Earth.'
