It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ulqa Maltheus is the Maltheus family's first daughter. Despite her high station, she proved to be slightly disappointing, given her naivete and poor decision making. Her innocently immature nature was tolerable until she had a daughter of her own with the much older Halo Heishitori, a dragon of her father's age and head of the Heishitori family. Since Halo is a friend, he was... more-or-less excused, but Ulqa was seen to be a fool. That was until she settled down with then newcomer Idoz. Since then, things have been starting to get back on track for her.

Though she has a fairly good-standing relationship with her parents, she is especially close to her older half-brother, Beliru, who acts as her guardian and confidant. Her relationship with Idoz, meanwhile, is more formal.
