Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. WinterMorning Breath is a special winter dragon, she does not only depict winter weather perfectly, even little snowflakes fall from her when she shakes out her wings. But in the early morning, she can turn a bundle of snow in her claws to a beautiful winter rose, a crisp red rose that has frost all over it, so fragile she can only touch it without it falling back to the ground as snow. And when ever she finds hibernating creatures that came out of hibernating too early she offers to put them back to their normal sleep schedule, by laying down next them and placing her wing securely around their body, chilling them enough to make their body think it's still winter so they continue to hibernate. She can also breath coll, icy breath on an item she chooses; a fountain into a frozen fountain, a dead tree into a winter-pretty frost tree, etc.
