Shimmer-scale Dragons are a very beautiful breed with small—but highly reflective—scales that shimmer and shine as the dragon moves through water. They don’t have fins or webbed feet, but their long, eel-like bodies allow them to swim quite fast. They were once rumored to carry large pearls in their claws—causing many to seek them out in search of this fabulous treasure. In reality, the “pearl” is of greater value to the dragon, for the fabled treasure is actually an egg carried by a migrating female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pity should not be shown to this blind Dragon, for his blindness was his own doing.

Originally one of the Blade Saints, none were as noble or as loyal as Cenred, who prided himself on his sense of justice. There were even rumours that Gwyndolin was considering making this dragon his Second-in-Command.

How the mighty fall.

Whether due to honest belief or some twisted motive, Cenred became convinced a feared Ember was a traitor and ambushed the dragon, with the view to take his head back to his Leader. And he would've accomplished it, had it not been for a little Arsani, who revealed his scheme to Gwyndolin, who in turn stopped the attack and dragged Cenred away.

He was made an example of, blinded before the gathered Saints. He should be grateful his life was spared, even if now his only purpose is to serve as a reminder of what happens to those who break the rules of the Saints.
