Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Named for her spitfire temperament, Tobi takes after her mother in many ways, as a vain magi that knows her power is great. However, she carries too, the traits of her gentle father, and prefers to use her magic to help others rather than to fight, as her mother does. She chose to stay as a hatchling due to the non-intimidating appearance it gives her, making her work as one of the Clan's healers that much easier.
