Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aubrynth is the eldest dragon in Centauri Caverns, and she takes this role very seriously; she acts as leader, but doesn't let it go to her head. She believes her position entitles her to a duty specifically to the other Centauri dragons. This gives her a strong sense of justice, and a strict set of morals above all else. She makes sure to spend time with every dragon, and can often be seen playing with the hatchlings. Despite her high status, Aubrynth is most certainly not the distant, reserved leader some may believe her to be. She is actually quite fun-loving and active. In fact, she has even been called childish on a few occasions. She also tends to be disagreeable during the daytime, being a Sunset dragon. However, when situations grow difficult, she is always able to turn to her mate, Phoserix, for help.
