Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

((For the record, you say it Ha-THWON-beth)) Hath is definitely on the larger scale of black dragons, but seeing as she's currently the only one of two in the cave, that's not a hard feat to manage. Her personality is as rich as her shimmering hide, but she rarely shows it to anyone except Xarsoneth. In public she is quiet and somber, even snappish sometimes, but in private she is...quiet and somber and humorous and snappish sometimes. Of course, her humor is often morbid and her conversation is dark, though not particularly overdone. She honestly is a good dragon, and loves her mate with all her might, and she wants nothing more than to see him be happy forever, but she won't tell you that, of course.
