White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Celestia is one of the few dragons in the sanctuary that was not born of the cave.  Lost, deserted, shunned, she was adopted by the caretaker to live among the sanctuary's large family and to create a new and hopefully healthy clan under her surname.  The name "Lhiannan" is given as the only memory of her parents.  Shy and uncertain of any other dragons excepting her breed, she has learned well the ways of the healers and hopes to be a fair and loving matron of a future clan.
