Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is so full of energy that you have a hard time keeping up with it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Life's ComeBack is the first son of the first dragon in Orichid's cave. He feels like he should be treated like a prince, or almost a king since the others treat his father more like an older sibling than a ruler. He tries time and time again to give orders to the hatchlings of the cave. That mismatched group is made of so many personalities and with a dragon who puts birthright before earned respect he doesn't have much of a real command. That's just as well though, as his parents are working hard every day to make sure he learns respect needs to both be earned from and given to others in the cave.
