Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It doesn’t move much, and appears to be covered in stone.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. However, the wings look too heavy to fly and are filled with beautiful crystal.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Frozen Crystal is a very grounded dragon. In his group of hatchlings, he is almost always the one to point out a fault in one of their many insane plans. Without his common sense, many of the other hatchlings in his cave would have ended up crushed by stone dragons, burnt to a crisp by fire dragons, or simply forced to listen to lectures about 'recklessness' from their parents for the rest of eternity. Frozen likes to look at things sensibly, and rarely gets angry. There is only one thing which really annoys him: calling him 'Crystal', which he thinks is far too girly.
