Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Unit Four was raised from birth by a religious group practicing Manodyne, trying to bring eternal youth to humans through draconic mana. She is one of the few specimens that has been captured, making her the best opportunity to study the effects of Manodyne practices on the dragons involved. After having large amounts of magic stripped from her throughout her manodist captivity, she is very frail compared to other dragons and never had enough energy to grow and mature correctly, hence she has stayed a wingless hatchling. Other affects include excessive shyness and distance from other dragons, as well as a degree of muteness and deafness. She also possesses a severe lack of her species' trademark healing powers, only being able to heal very minor cuts and scrapes that she often obtains by running into things did to her perpetual lightheadedness and distance. Though her name implies that there were at least three other dragons under her circumstances, they have never been found.
