Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As the son of one of the most impressive personalities among the Royal Blues, Home could have easily become a shy, neurotic, or even bitter dragon. It's hard to make one's own way if everydragon just thinks of one's mother and makes the comparison. But Home is a strong enough character to stand his own ground and not become overwhelmed by his momma's larger-than-life personality.

He's calmly confident and is the only one to stand up to her if he thinks she is wrong. This has made him her closest confidant and friend.
