Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A relaxed male, this dragon has a great fondness for glass. From glass sculptures to elaborate stained glass windows, he likes it all--and as such, he's determined to collect it. His glass-making abilities aren't as refined as his spitfire mother's, and as such he usually steals glass rather than making it himself. Museums, churches, spitfire dens--all are open game to him, and he has amassed quite a hoard for himself, storing his coveted treasures deep within his desert cave.
