White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vaeli is the kind and helpful dragon of the cave, as well as a skilled nurse. She takes care of the hatchlings most of the time, with the help of Jhori, of course. Whenever a hatchling is hurt or frightened, Vaeli will be right there to help. But it's not just the hatchlings she takes care of. If an older dragon is injured or feeling ill, they will always come to Vaeli to see if she can help. If she can't, which isn't very often, she will console the dragon and try to make him feel better emotionally, rather than physically.
