Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sir Napoleon has delusions of grandeur, but it seems they will never be realized. He has a brilliant mind and is amazing with strategy for fending off egg-thieves and monsters that plague the cave, but the other dragons make fun of him, calling him "more of a pony than a horse" because of his small size. Even his master named him "the Pony" instead of "the Horse" because of his small stature. Sometimes, his master even refers to him as "My Little Pony," which appears to be an inside joke of the humans. Because of this, he is notoriously bad-tempered, lashing out at everyone that attempts to help him, or even speak with him. Furthering his problems is the fact that he is Italian, but for some reason everyone seems to think that his accent is French and call him a "cheese-eating surrender monkey", which he does not appreciate. His dearest wish is to invade the cold land of Russia, and defeat the people there that are rumored to wrestle with bears purely for fun.
