Royal Crimson Dragons are so named due to their massive size and confident, regal bearing. Most of the time they are laid back, ignoring non-prey creatures smaller than themselves, although they will occasionally take fresh kills from other dragons as a reminder of their place in the social order. Although there are few other dragons large enough to pose a threat to Royal Crimsons, they have little tolerance for potential rivals and will fiercely defend their territory from such intruders.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Looking to the ground watching as lava flows from a nearby river, a scarlet dot can be seen peering out from a cavern carved in a mountain. The Royal Crimson looking out is always the one called Ian. He is a deep thinker, always believing that there is more to a dragon or a conversation then meets the eye. This belief has gotten him into many arguments, such as when Yt simply is tired and doesn't want to talk, leading Ian to think that he did something wrong.
It can be rather obvious to his friends that Ian can be a bit on the insecure side, fearing that his friends might abandon him. Credit can be given to his past for this paranoia. When he was a hatchling, his family was always on the move to go to new territory, never giving Ian a chance to make a close connection with other dragons, either for friends or something more.
When he matured he left to escape the constant pain brought on from his parents. Now he finally feels that his life has a purpose, enjoying the life he now has.
