Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bloodstone Deathfang is thought of as a mysterious dragon by her clan. She usually strays off from the rest of them, and acts dark and aloof. Although she may seem to dislike them, it's not true. Whenever danger strikes Bloodstone will always there for her clan, and she would never drink the blood of her clan members. She only drinks the blood of wild dragons and ones belonging to other clans. And if you can earn Bloodstone's trust and friendship, she just might show you her sweet side. However, she was almost killed as a hatchling by someone she had trusted and thought of as a friend, so she has trouble trusting other dragons. The only person she trusts is her owner. Even the dragons Bloodstone had turned into her kind haven't fully earned her trust yet.
